Missions Team
The Missions Team supports and promotes various outreach projects on a regular basis. Depending on the project, goods are donated or services provided to those in need whether right next door or across the globe. Recent projects involved collecting nonperishable groceries and baby items for local food bank, furnishing backpacks and school supplies to three local schools, assisting with hurricane relief and recovery efforts, providing hospitality for Methodist ministers daylong workshop, sending new and used American jeans to sister church in Cuba, supporting Heifer International in the fight to end world hunger. Team members are often involved in other mission projects listed here. Meetings are open to anyone interested.

 Neonatal Ministry
Individuals make hats, gowns and blankets for babies in hospital neonatal units.  Items are donated regularly to Plantation General and Broward General hospitals.  Fabric not suitable for babies is used to make lap robes and afghans which are given to nursing home and dialysis patients.  Anyone who crochets, knits or sews is welcome to participate.
