Children's Ministries

SUNDAY MORNINGS
For more information about any of our CHildren's Ministries, contact our Children's Ministries Coordinator, Linda Wilson (lwilson@pumc.net
).

We have a nursery staff available for infants and toddlers (0-3 years old) at all of our Sunday morning worship services.   It is located in the 300 wing, just south of the sanctuary.  If you need assistance in finding the nursery, please ask an usher to direct you.

Please sign your child into Sunday School in the lobby of the sanctuary.  Your child will sit with you in worship for the first part of the service.   After the Children's Moment, a teacher will take them to Sunday School.  You can pick them up in the Preschool wing after the service.  Ask an usher for assistance.

MUSIC EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN

Resonate! is our music education program for all youth and children, from ages 3 through 12th grade.  The children and youth learn about music and worship God through singing, ringing bells, sign language, and playing instruments.  We meet on Sunday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:00.  There are many different musical options within the Resonate! program:
      Resonate Singers (2nd grade through 12th grade) - 4:00 to 5:00
      Resonate, Jr. (3 year olds through 1st grade) - 4:30 to 5:00
Resonate Strummers (guitar class) - 4:15 to 5:00

Rehearsal will begin on September 5, 2010.  Mark your calendars today!  For more information, contact Pastor Kathy Nolasco (knolasco@pumc.net).

UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENTS

Trunk-or-Treat!  Halloween Day, 4:00-6:00
PUMC will join with other churches in the neighborhood for Trunk-or-Treat on Halloween Day (Sunday, October 31st) from 4:00 to 6:00.  This is a free community-wide event, where children get dressed up and go "trick-or-treating" from car trunk to car trunk.  There will be prizes for best costumes, games, music, dancing, food, and - of course - lots and lots of candy.  Again, this is a FREE community-wide event, so mark your calendars and bring your friends and neighbors!
